Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DiffFind's website or application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Description of service

DiffFind provides deterministic comparison of text, structured data, and PDF documents, with optional AI-generated semantic analysis of the changes it finds. The Service is offered both as a self-hosted, single-user tool and as a hosted, multi-user application at app.difffind.com.

Accounts

Hosted use requires signing in with a Google account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of that account and for all activity that happens under it. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to compare, store, or process content you don't have the right to access, to attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.

AI-generated content

Semantic analysis is generated by third-party AI providers and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. It's provided for convenience, not as a substitute for your own review of the underlying documents. Don't rely on it alone for decisions with legal, financial, or safety consequences.

Your own API keys

If you connect your own AI provider API key, you're responsible for all usage and cost incurred against that key through the Service, and for complying with that provider's own terms.

Fees

The self-hosted version of DiffFind is free to run under your own infrastructure and API keys. Pricing for the hosted service, if any, will be presented before it applies to your account.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your own account at any time from the Account page — this permanently removes your account, sessions, settings, and any connected API keys, and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that comparison or AI-analysis results will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiffFind will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on its output.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
